Hope you guys are having a great time....the weather is cold n nice over at here..Well, 3 weeks have passed by...the third week was a pretty tough week in terms of business plan competition preparations...my friends were all like saying i look so stressed up over at the college room in our hotel...haha..

Some interesting highlights for this week:

-Prof's Tan's house visit

-I just came back from University Village- its a shopping villa and a good hangout place..

Having fun so far...good food...great places...good music...good friends....hmm but where is my great family??? :) always thinking of you..Love you guys!

Hello Everyone!!

It's been 2 weeks now! So far, I've been to Stanford University, California and University of Washington, Seattle....These universities have rich tradition and their buildings are so beautiful...

Among all the corporate visits we had, the Google one was memorable. Their corporate culture was remarkable! Their employees are provided an array of great cuisine for all their meals free! They have a fun environment to work in!

Apart from studies and corporate visits, lots of shopping and fun times make our day here! I just went canoeing in the Union Lake at Seattle yesterday. We went to premium outlets today for shopping. Great place to shop!

I'm having fun now. Sometimes I wish you guys were here and we could hang out together and have fun! So glad brother is organising a short trip for us cousins soon! We'll have fun manz!

Firstly, Happy Birthday Muthu! Hope you had great fun and wish you all the best!

It has been a week since I left Singapore..I arrived on 2nd Sept afternoon at San Francisco, California...Stayed in Sunnyvale till friday, 8th sept..Maple Tree Inn was the place we put up in. And Dharshi, I think i left my CHI hair treatment in that room! So sad....

California was nice, the weather, the atmosphere, the people and all. I miss the 24hr Safeway supermarket. Gigantic place with a dine-in area. There's where we hangout every night(rather midnite). Chocolate muffin, Haagen Daaz or Ben n Jerry's were a definite daily intake. We crapped and talked alot before returning back to our rooms. The last night we hang out there, we were taking crazy photos. Since it was like 2am, we went to the middle of the road and took a shot. I took a shot with firemen, and nearly called a policeman too..and my frens called me crazy girl! We also had the chance of helping a man push his car that couldnt start!

On the more serious note, I visited many corporations in the Silicon Valley. Google, IDEO, Sazzle, Rosum, Wallup and a few venture capitalists in that valley. We had lesson and talks at Stanford University for a day and that place is awesome. Simply beautiful. Stanford is the 2nd best uni in the USA for its undergraduate programs and 4th best for its post graduate programs.


On friday I arrived here at Seattle, Washington. Lessons officially starts on mon. We are lagging behind Singapore by 15 hours. On Friday I met Patrick, a PhD student from University of Washington, who is attached to my group for our Business Plan Competition. He brought us on a tour around UW.

We all went for mountain trekking at Mount Rainier last saturday. It was such a wonderful experience and we played with snow at the top of the mountains. Splendid scenic shots I have taken. Today is sunday and I went to Pike's Place Fish Market. It is a world famous fish market where they take pride in serving the customers with joy and laughter. They throw their catches around singing songs together and enjoy taking photos with customers. After which we walked to Chinatown in Seattle then the Space Needle tower that is the landmark of Seattle.

Last Saturday's bowling session was awesome! Kudos to Aunt Suppama who showed a major improvement by the end of the game and played so well and eventually beat her opponent, (I was the poor thing)....haha...Way to go Aunt! And ofcourse, not forgetting our top scorer, Gayathrie who was at the beginning fiercely threatened by her team captain, Raj brother, who was also repeatedly targetting to replace her with Gabby!!! She eventually emerged from 'Lonkang Queen' to one of the top scorers of the day! Cheers Babe!! Rock on!

The birthday celebrations for Pratheeb that followed after the bowling session was super funny! You guys should have seen how Raj bro and Letchu were running after Pratheeb who was trying to escape from the birthday 'sabo'! Happy 18th birthday to our beloved brother Pratheeb! We always love you and continue to outshine dear brother! Wish you all the best!

Well, that was the last outing we had before I bade farewell to all of you, my wonderful family! I'm now in San Francisco and the time here is 2.30am, 3rd Sept. I just reached here 12 hours ago. We are lagging behind by a day. Feel like a zombie coz of the jet-lag..But the weather is nice, cool and breezy.. Now to share with you some of the photos...
